At Rochdale swimming club we welcome all participants and endeavour to provide a fun friendly and competitive programme. We were established in 1868 and are one of the longest running clubs in great Britain. Our programme is designed to challenge and encourage competition. Our club is run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure to continued success of the club. At Rochdale swimming club we have a very successful learn to swim programme. We teach children from their 4th birthday following the national teaching plan for swimming. All our coaches are volunteers and give their valuable time to enable Rochdale swimming club to provide a quality learning environment. Our program is centred around the individual participant and we follow the long term athlete development plan.
